We take Data Security very seriously. In the following we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data obtained which refers to you personally, i.e. first name and name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour. We have taken extensive technical and organisational security measures to ensure that your data is protected against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss or destruction and access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are revised periodically and are adjusted to match technological progress.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for the Processing

Personal data is only collected when you submit it voluntarily, as for example when filling out the contact form, registering for or ordering our newsletter. We use this information solely for the purpose for which it was submitted. According to art. 6, sub-section 1, lit. a) GDPR your data can only be used for other purposes after explicit notification or having received your consent. In certain cases personal data is processed as a result of legitimate interest according to art. 6, sub-section 1, lit. f) (GDPR) (see clause 4).

4. Your Legal Rights

You have the following legal rights concerning your personal data:

4.1 General Rights

You have a right to information and a right to the correction, deletion and limitation of the processing of your personal data, in addition, a right to object to the processing and transmission of your data. If you have consented to processing your data you have the right to revoke your consent with future effect.

4.2 Rights Concerning Data Processing on the Basis of Legitimate Interest

According to art. 21, sub-section 1, GDPR you have the right, based on your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data carried out in accordance with art. 6, sub-section 1, lit. e) GDPR (Data Processing in the Public Interest) or art. 6, sub- section 1, lit. f) GDPR (Data Processing Safeguarding a Legitimate Interest). This also applies to profiling based on the same provision. In case of your objection we will no longer process your personal data unless we can prove compelling reasons for this processing which prevail over your interests, rights and liberties, or the processing takes place in order to enforce, exercise or defend legal claims.

4.3. Rights concerning Direct Marketing

Insofar as we process personal data for the purpose of direct marketing you have the right, in accordance with art. 21, sub-section 2, GDPR, to object at any time to the processing of personal data for this type of advertising. This also applies to profiling in as much as it is in connection with such direct marketing.

We will no longer use the data for this purpose should you object to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing.

4.4. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

You also have the right to lodge a complaint about our processing your personal data with a Supervisory Authority.

5. Processing on the Basis of Legitimate Interest according to Art. 6, Sub-section 1, lit. f) GDPR

Personal data processing according to art. 6, sub-section 1, lit. f) GDPR takes place in the following cases:

5.1. Collection of Data when Visiting our Website

If our website is only being used for informative purposes we only collect the information sent by your browser to our server. If you wish to view our website we collect the following data which we need technically in order to be able to show our website and ensure stability and security:

IP-address, date and time of the enquiry, content of the enquiry (the actual page), access status/HTTP-status code, the amount of data transferred, the website the enquiry originated from, browser, operating system and its surface, language and browser software version.

The legitimate interest of the website controller lies in the faultless presentation of his web presence as well as ensuring the stability and security of the website.

5.2. Registration and Use of the Internet Portal

You have the possibility of registering and opening a customer account with us. We then collect the following data for the registration:

  • Title
  • Company
  • First name
  • Name
  • Street
  • Postal Code
  • Town
  • Telephone
  • E-mail (user name)
  • Password

We use the so-called double-opt-in-procedure, that means your registration is only then complete when you activate the link in the confirmation e-mail which is sent to you for this purpose. The information required above is mandatory, all further information can be submitted voluntarily by using our online portal.

After successful registration you receive a personal password-protected access. Registration is voluntary but may be necessary in order to make use of our services.

When using our online portal we collect such data necessary for contract fulfillment, if necessary the method of payment, until you cancel your access. Furthermore, we collect the data you voluntarily gave us for the duration of your use of our online portal should you not cancel them beforehand. All data can be managed and altered in the secure customer area. The legal basis is art. 6, sub-section 1, lit. a), b), f) GDPR.

The legitimate interest of the website controller lies in the practical necessity of a registration and the use of the online portal for dealers' access.

5.3. Contact via E-Mail or Contact Form

When you contact us via e-mail or by using a contact form we store the information you supply (your e-mail address, first name and name, title and telephone number) in order to answer your enquiry. Should further information be requested in our contact form that is not strictly necessary for contacting you then it is marked as being optional. The information given is used to specify your enquiry and for the optimised processing of your enquiry. It is given voluntarily and with your consent in accordance with art. 6, sub-section 1, lit. a) GRDP. If this information concerns communication channels (i.e. e-mail address, telephone number) you also consent to being contacted by us via these channels in order to answer your enquiry. You may of course cancel your consent at any time for future effect.

Data given in this connection is deleted when storage is no longer needed, or we limit its use in case the legal retention requirement applies.

5.4. Communication via Facebook Messenger

This service uses Facebook Messenger of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) as a further means of communication. The data and contents of the communication are processed by servers in the USA. Facebook evaluates the meta-data but not the content of the communication for advertising purposes.

5.5. Use of Social-Plugins

5.5.1. Google Maps / Google You Tube

Contents such as YouTube or Google Maps which belong to Google (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) are integrated in this online service. However, the provider of these services (hereafter referred to as “Third Provider”) has to be able to recognise the user’s IP-address. The contents could otherwise not be sent to the user’s browser. The IP-address is necessary for the presentation of the contents. We strive to use only such contents which can be supplied by the provider that uses the IP-address solely for this purpose. However, we have no influence on whether the Third Provider stores the IP-address for example for statistics. We notify the user should we be aware of such practise. The legal basis for this is art. 6, sub-section 1, lit. f) GDPR. The legitimate interest consists of the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online services.

6. Use of Cookies

When using our website cookies will be stored on your computer. A cookie is information stored on your computer by a website you visit. This enables the transmission of certain information. Cookies cannot execute any program or transmit a virus to your computer. Cookies are used for ensuring the best user experience possible when visiting the website.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data by using cookies is art. 6, sub-section1, lit. f) GDPR. The legitimate interest of the website controller lies in making your experience on our website as user-friendly and efficient as possible.

6.1. Transient Cookies

Transient cookies are cookies which are automatically deleted when the user closes the web browser, for example session cookies. They store the so-called session ID with which various requests from your browser can be attributed to the same session. In this way your computer can be recognized when you visit our website again. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

6.2. Persistent Cookies

These cookies are deleted automatically after a fixed period of time which varies according to the type of cookie used. You can delete these cookies at any time by using the security settings in your browser.

7. Website Analysis

In order to analyse and optimise our website we use various services which we present here. By using these services we can, for example, determine how many users visit our website, which information is the most sought after or how it is located by the user. We collect for example data on which server a person used to reach a website (so-called "referrer"), which subpages are accessed or how long and how often the subpage is viewed. This helps us to enhance and optimise our website for the user. The data collected thereby is not designed to identify a user personally. At the most only anonymous or pseudonymous data is collected.

7.1. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a website analytics service of Google Inc., (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), the use of which includes Universal Analytics. This enables the matching of data, sessions and interaction to a pseudonym user-ID and at the same time analyses the activities of a user across multiple devices.

Google Analytics uses cookies to enable the analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie on your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In case the IP-address is anonymised on this website, Google will, within the Members States of the European Community or other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, abbreviate your IP-address beforehand. Only in exceptions will your full IP-address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. 7.2. Conversion measurement with the Facebook Visitor Tracker

With your consent we use the Visitor Tracker supplied by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) on our website. With this tool we can track the actions the user undertakes after having seen or clicked on a Facebook advert. In that way we can record the efficiency of Facebook advertising for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected thereby is anonymous, that means we do not see any personal data of the user. This data is however stored and processed by Facebook and we will inform you of this according to our state of knowledge. Facebook can link this data to your Facebook account and use it for their own advertising purposes according to the Facebook Data Protection Policy https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. This can enable Facebook and its partners to place adverts both in and outside of Facebook. Furthermore, cookies may be stored on your computer for this purpose.

8. Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter in which we inform you about current offers, after you have given your consent in accordance with art. 6, sub-section 1, lit. a GDPR.

We use the so-called double-opt-in method for the registration to our newsletter. That means that, after you have registered, we send you an e-mail to the address given in which we require confirmation that you wish to receive the newsletter.

Furthermore, we also store the IP-address given and the time you registered and that of the confirmation. The reason for this method is to prove that you registered and if necessary to clarify a possible abuse of your personal data.

The only mandatory information needed to receive the newsletter is your e-mail address. We store your e-mail address after receiving your confirmation in order to be able to send you the newsletter. Legal basis for this is art. 6, sub-section 1, lit. a) GDPR.

You can withdraw your consent and cancel the newsletter at any time. This can be done with a click on the link contained in every newsletter sent by us via e-mail.

10. Advertising

We use cookies for marketing purposes in order to supply our users with advertising matching their requirements. This information can be shared with third parties such as advertising networks. The legal basis for this is art. 6, sub-section 1, lit. a) and f) GDPR. The legitimate interest in processing this data is direct marketing. You have the right to object to the use of your data for this purpose at any time. To that end we supply you with the opt-out possibilities of the respective services. Alternatively, you can prevent the insertion of cookies by using your browser settings.

11. Data Transfer

In principle your data is not transferred to third parties unless we are legally obliged to or it is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or you have given your explicit consent to the transfer of your data.

13. Storage Duration

Personal data collected by us is deleted either when the respective purpose of processing ceases to exist or after the retention period has expired.

14. Obligation to Provide Data of the Party Concerned

You are not subject to any legal or contractual obligations to provide data by using our website.

15. Automatic Decision Maker including Profiling

No automatic decision maker including profiling according to art. 22 GDPR exists.
